Dr. Semanti Chakraborty, MD, DM (Endocrinology), is a distinguished endocrinologist and diabetologist based at Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra (EEDF) in Jodhpur Park, Kolkata. She completed her foundational training—MBBS at Medical College, Calcutta (2008), MD in General Medicine from Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, and a prestigious DM in Endocrinology from AIIMS, New Delhi (2017) . In addition, she earned a UK-recognized specialist certificate in Endocrinology and Diabetes from the Royal College of Physicians in 2017
With over 10–15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Chakraborty is known for her expertise in managing a wide spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders—including diabetes (type 1 & 2), thyroid dysfunctions, pituitary diseases, PCOS, obesity, disorders of the adrenal, parathyroid, and reproductive endocrine systems .
