U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre is a premier emergency-related tertiary cardiac super-speciality hospital and research institute located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is one of the largest single-speciality cardiac teaching hospitals in the country and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced medical technology, and highly trained clinical teams. The institute is promoted as an autonomous grant-in-aid body by the Government of Gujarat and affiliated with B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, for academic and residency programs in cardiology and related surgical specialties.
UNMICRC’s mission focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality cardiac care to patients from all socioeconomic backgrounds, including concessional or no-cost treatment for the underprivileged. The hospital supports extensive clinical services, critical care units, and cardiac procedures, as well as training programs such as DM Cardiology, MCh Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and DM Cardiac Anaesthesia under Gujarat University and BJ Medical College affiliation.
