Consultant Paediatrician & Neonatologist

Dr. Amrita Roy is a highly experienced paediatrician and neonatologist based in Kolkata, with over 11 years of dedicated service in the field. She holds an MBBS from Calcutta University, an MD in Paediatrics from the Medical College of Calcutta, and has further specialized with an MRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK, in 2017. Additionally, she completed a Fellowship in Neonatology at the University of Oxford, UK, and SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada, in 2019. 

Dr. Roy practices at Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals in Kolkata, where she offers comprehensive care in paediatrics and neonatology. Her areas of expertise include managing conditions such as acute diarrhoea, newborn anaemia, sepsis, ADHD, baby colic, and birth defects. She is also skilled in performing neonatal echocardiography to detect congenital heart defects.She is a life member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and the National Neonatology Forum, actively participating in research and teaching within the medical community
