Dr Muduly is a senior surgical oncologist at AIIMS Bhubaneswar with over two decades of experience. He leads the Surgical Oncology department, and under his leadership the department is reported to have adopted advanced techniques (e.g., video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for lung/oesophageal cancers) at this institute.
He combines traditional open oncologic surgery with minimally invasive approaches, and he is actively involved in teaching, research and training of surgical oncology fellows.

• Surgical Oncology: management of cancers (solid-tumours) including breast, head & neck, gastric, gynaecological cancers. 

• Minimally invasive onco-surgical procedures including thoracic, gastrointestinal, gynaecologic oncology surgery
