Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr Tripathy is a senior orthopaedic surgeon at one of India’s premier institutes, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, where he serves as a Professor in the Orthopaedics department. He is known for handling advanced surgical interventions including joint replacements and tumour-reconstruction surgeries that many hospitals consider highly specialised. His contributions include pioneering work in Odisha such as the state’s first total femur replacement. With his academic appointment, he also engages in teaching, research and training of future orthopaedic surgeons.
