Dr. Wategaonkar’s field is Medical Oncology, with specialization in diagnosis and treatment of various cancers. 
He handles both adult and paediatric cancers, and is experienced in using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other modern oncology treatments. 

Common cancer types he treats include — but are not limited to — breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancers (colon, stomach), head & neck cancers, genitourinary cancers, ovarian and other gynecological cancers, hepatobiliary cancers, lymphomas and other haematological malignancies. 

He is also experienced in handling complex or late-stage cancers, metastatic disease, multi-line chemotherapy regimens, and personalized treatment planning.
