​Dr. Soumya Umesh is a Professor (Grade II) in the Department of General Medicine at St. John's Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru. She holds an MBBS degree and a DNB in General Medicine. Her clinical interests include non-communicable diseases and medical education, particularly simulation-based learning . Dr. Umesh is actively involved in research and serves as a co-investigator in a national project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), focusing on cost-effective interventions to reduce cardiovascular disease burden across India . She is available for outpatient consultations on Wednesdays and Saturdays at St. John's Medical College Hospital
