Dr Pratanu Saha is a Senior Psychiatrist in West Bengal. He has been practising successfully for more than 15 years, covering a wide area extending from Kalyani to east Kolkata. Before doing his post-graduation in Psychiatry, Dr. Saha completed a Diploma in Child Health. Not surprisingly, his special interest is centred on child and adolescent psychiatry. Throughout his career, Dr. Saha's focus has been on educating common people about mental health and related issues. He has organised and conducted numerous socio-medical programmes, as well as lectures and seminars for physicians, on various mental illnesses. Dr. Pratanu is currently a member of the editorial committee of Your Health, a monthly journal published for the common man by the Indian Medical Association from Kolkata. In addition, Koishorok, a Bengali journal on problems of adolescents and parenting, published from Naihati, has been edited by Dr. Saha for the last eight years. He is Asst.
